LOCATION
We are located 3 and a half hours from Quito, in the community of Santo Domingo del Hollín, 15 minutes from Archidona in the Napo province. Kuyana Amazon Lodge has a privileged location on the banks of the Hollin River, with an area of 30 hectares of protected Amazon rainforest and a 1.2-hectare island of natural formation at the confluence of the Ushpayacu estuary and the Hollin River.
From Quito the shortest route is: Quito - Tumbaco -Papallacta - Baeza - Cosanga - Archidona
Once you get to Archidona you must go to Archidona’s Central Park, where the church is located. Then, pass through the first traffic light, and continue one block until you reach the second traffic light, turn left here, and travel straight for four blocks. Once you have reached the fourth block turn left and continue one block then turn right (at this point you have taken the path that takes you to San Pablo del Ushpayacu). Continue straight for approximately 10 minutes, the paved road ends and a gravel road begins, you must continue travelling on the gravel road for 8 more minutes until you reach the Santo Domingo del Hollin Community, our sign is on the right at the end of the road, continue for approximately 500 meters to reach our parking lot.
